Company Profile
About us
The Williamson Manufacturing Company can trace its origins back to the late 19th Century with James Williamson the renowned, Hove based, movie pioneer. The company he formed moved into the aerial camera business and was a major supplier to the RAF during the world wars. As the need for reconnaissance cameras declined, after WW2 the company moved into film processing and in particular X-Ray film processing. During this time the need for pumps in the equipment that the company was building resulted in an association with Gorman Rupp Industries (Ohio, USA) which continues to this day. The interest in pumps was maintained and a separate company was formed to split the pumps business from the X Ray processing business. Many more lines have since been developed of the company’s own design and manufacture and also other associations made with Anko Products and Shurflo .
Williamson is now committed to producing a range of pumps consistent with the needs of today’s OEM market and puts an emphasis on tailoring products to suit a wide range of applications. The company has a wide experience of the pump market and is very capable of engineering solutions to suit many needs which includes not just pumps but also the electronics necessary to control pumps.
The Williamson Manufacturing Company not only produces the range of standard products detailed on this website, which can be purchased either directly or via our on line shop, but also welcomes inquiries for bespoke pumps and systems. So long as there is a pump involved Williamson will consider building it.

200 CM variable speed cased pump 18.08.2008
These pumps are low cost, compact and ideal for a wide range of low pressure dosing duties. The units are prewired for simplicity of installation and all use the standard 200 series mini-pump head, which we can supply fitted with Silicone, Santoprene®, or Viton® tubing in a variety of sizes to suit virtually any application regardless of chemical compatibility. The new twin adjustment facility allows the user to adjust both pump speed and reduce run time to give a wide flow adjustment range from maximum down to 10%. Series 100 Micro Peristaltic Pumps 18.08.2008
The micro range of peristaltic pumps was designed by the Williamson Manufacturing Company to offer the OEM a low cost compact and reliable means of dosing a wide range of liquids. As with all peristaltic pumps they have excellent suction performance, self-priming up to 5 metres from dry and capable of pumping up to 10m head pressure. Peristaltic pumps offer a good level of accuracy and repeatability and as only the tube contacts the pumped media, they are corrosion resistant, easy to clean and inexpensive to maintain. The 100 series pump heads have an ABS housing, 2 or 4 ground stainless steel rollers, and an acetal roller assembly to ensure durability and performance. Flow rates differ for the 2 and 4 roller assemblies and according to tube size, from <1ml/min up to 18 ml/min
