The production facility is located in Upper Austria, in Frankenmarkt. Parts are manufactured in the USA, Europe and Asia.

OBJECTIVE CHANGER

STAGE

Attached mechanical stage: 120mm x 140mm surface with 75mm (X) by 40mm (Y) movement, graduated with vernier readings to 0.1 mm, drop-down right or left-handed controls.

Flat-top stage: 171mm x 140mm surface with 80mm (X) by 52mm (Y) movement, graduated with vernier readings to 0.1 mm, detachable specimen guide, drop-down right of left-handed controls.

CONDENSERS

Standard models have either an Achromatic NA 1.25 condenser with iris diaphragm and filter tray for brightfield work, simple NA 1.25 slider phase condenser, or an NA 1.25 Zernike phase condenser with filter tray and independently centerable annuli for phase contrast. Cardioid-type NA 1.25 darkfield condenser for high power (100x objective only) darkfield work is optional.

ILLUMINATOR

Built-in, 6V 30W, variable-intensity Koehler illumination for apertures up to 1.25.

VIEWING HEADS
Model MA815/05 is the Siedentopf-type binocular head and Model MA816/05 is the trinocular head for camera integration. Each head has the eyetubes inclined at 30° with the left eyetube having graduated diopter settings. The interpupillary distance is adjustable between 53mm – 75mm. An 80/20 beamsplitter for the trinocular tube can be engaged for photo work. An optional ergonomic binocular viewing head adjustable vertically 10 to 50 degrees is also available.

EYEPIECES
10X Widefield High Eyepoint eyepieces F.N.20 are standard, and 15X and 20X eyepieces are available as an option. A Widefield High Eyepoint 10X focusable eyepiece that accepts 25mm reticules is also available.

The smooth-operating, ball bearing mounted, quintuple nosepiece provides effortless objective changes.
