High-performance, long-life and small: LEDs (light-emitting diodes) are increasingly the light source of choice for advanced lighting demands.

We work with individual LEDs and LED arrays sourced from a range of manufacturers. We use them to implement best-of-breed illumination concepts as regards light intensity, colour rendition, and flexibility of beam-shaping and downstream light-guiding elements. The same applies to triggering concepts and heat management. Combined with our expertise in plastic optics, we are able to deliver complete lighting modules, optimised from a single source.

ZETT OPTICS manufactures a large range of complex optical and precision plastic components – order size can vary from just a few hundred items to several hundreds of thousand items.

We are one of the very few companies worldwide to offer injection compression moulding to manufacture components with a highly precise profiling of optically active surfaces, high surface quality, and homogenous, low birefringence structure. Injection compression moulding can also be used for applying micro- and nanostructures for anti-reflection or anti-soiling purposes. We also use conventional injection moulding – naturally to the same high quality standards we apply to all our products. For precision components, we are capable of manufacturing to a tolerance of within just a few 10µm for electro-mechanical diaphragms, filter assemblies, control elements, and housings. We use PMMA, polycarbonate (PC), ABS, POM, PEEK, and other materials, depending on the optical, mechanical, and thermal specifications of your product.

Absaugung aller Handstückarbeitsplätze,
stauberzeugenden Geräte und
Kunststoffverarbeitungsplätze in Laboratorien
beliebiger Größe. Die Vorteile
des Systems kommen insbesondere
dann in vollem Umfang zur Wirkung,
wenn alle vorhandenen, stauberzeugenden
Geräte und Arbeitsplätze eines
Labors zentral abgesaugt werden.
Auch Geräte mit internen Gebläsen
können umgerüstet und an das zentrale
Absaugsystem angeschlossen werden.
Das VARIO-System kontrolliert den Luftvolumenstrom
und regelt die Saugleistung
in Abhängigkeit von der Anzahl
geöffneter Saugstellen stufenlos nach.
Ebenfalls wird die Filterverschmutzung
kompensiert. Das Filtersystem führt
zeitgesteuert Selbstreinigungen durch,
um dauerhaft eine hohe Luftdurchlässigkeit
zu garantieren. Der Motor erreicht
nur selten und kurzzeitig seine
volle Drehzahl. Daraus resultieren eine
lange Lebensdauer und ein minimaler
Wartungsaufwand. Mit der zentralen

An den Schnittstellen von Politik, Industrie, Selbstverwaltung und Wissenschaft setzt ZTG interoperable Lösungen für eine integrierte Versorgung um, fördert die Standardisierung von Schnittstellen, ist aktiv im Wissenstransfer und wirkt auf eine kontinuierliche Verbesserung der Rahmenbedingungen für die Verbreitung von Telematik hin. NRW hat als erstes Bundesland ein Landesgesundheitsportal eingerichtet, das mit durchschnittlich fast 40.000 Besuchern monatlich sehr gut genutzt wird. Alle Informationen, darunter allein mehr als 100.000 Adressen, sind qualitätsgesichert.

Neben der umfassenden Adressdatenbank verfügt das Portal über qualitätsgesicherte Informationen zu einer Reihe von häufigen Krankheitsbildern, darunter Krebs, Rheumatische Systemerkrankungen, Diabetes und Schlaganfall. Ein Teil der Informationen des Portals liegt auch in türkischer Sprache vor.

Inhalte, Ziele und Perspektiven

Mit der Initiative eGesundheit.nrw hat das Ministerium für Arbeit, Gesundheit und Soziales des Landes NRW eine Dachmarke geschaffen, unter der eine ganze Reihe von Aktivitäten, Projekten und Initiativen gebündelt werden.

Ziel von eGesundheit.nrw ist der Aufbau einer umfassenden Telematik-Infrastruktur für das Gesundheitswesen, die ambulante und stationäre Einrichtungen miteinander vernetzt, neue Dienstleistungen und telemedizinische Anwendungen ermöglicht und so zu mehr Qualität und Effizienz in der medizinischen Versorgung beiträgt.

eGesundheit.nrw beinhaltet sieben Bausteine:

1. Entwicklung von Spezifikationen und Vereinbarungen für interoperable, einrichtungsübergreifende Elektronische Patientenakten (EPA) gemeinsam mit Industrie und Selbstverwaltung

Der Aufbau einer umfassenden Telematik-Infrastruktur im Gesundheitswesen betrifft sowohl Experten im Gesundheitswesen und IT-Sektor als auch insbesondere mit der Einführung der elektronischen Gesundheitskarte – Bürgerinnen und Bürger, sowie umfangreiche Berufsgruppen im medizinischen und nicht-medizinischen Bereich. Im Umfeld von eGesundheit.nrw werden für diese Zielgruppen maßgeschneiderte Schulungs- und Fortbildungsveranstaltungen, Workshops, Seminare und Tagungen zu den Themenkomplexen Telematik, Telemedizin und medizinische Informatik angeboten.

Information und Diskussion stehen dabei im Mittelpunkt aller Veranstaltungen – von Bürger- und Patientenforen, über Expertenworkshops und Intensivseminaren bis hin zu Kongressveranstaltungen. Zusätzlich werden neue, innovative Lernangebote wie E-Learning und Blended Learning zur Vermittlung der Inhalte angeboten.

Zudem bietet das Zentrum für Telematik im Gesundheitswesen in Kooperation mit weiteren Bildungsträgern auch zertifizierte berufliche Fort- und Weiterbildungen an.

ZONARE’s Zone Sonography technology has been called one of the most major advances in ultrasound in the past several years. This technology has enabled many new breakthroughs in ultrasound such as the world’s first Hybrid/Convertible ultrasound system.

Zone Sonography has also been the basis for new advanved transducer technology as well. The new transducer technology greatly expands imaging capabilities and applications, whether used with the Z.ONE’s full-featured, cart-based configuration or the premium, portable compact unit.

The new transducer technology, with its wide bandwidth imaging and expanded range of frequencies, provides:

ZONARE’s ultrasound miniCart provides not only convenience but functionality as well. It is a customized, ergonomic mobile platform that holds and secures the Z.ONE system’s can engine when space is tight and a cart is needed. The Z.ONE MINI SYSTEM is designed for crowded clinical settings, such as emergency departments, private offices or interventional radiology suites.

The system features a full-size keyboard for easy annotation and patient data entry and a unique integrated touch screen interface.

The FastKey Menu on the scan engine offers a set of self-programmable buttons, or soft keys, which allow access to specific applications at the touch of a button on the screen and enables customers to reduce exam times.

Advanced LCD for ambient light conditions is easy to position and collapses for convenient transport.

Other features include a security lock for the scan engine and a multifunction connector, or QuikConnect, enabling digital video and USB capabilities for image archive to a memory stick, connecting optional peripheral items like external printers and monitors or connection to a network.

One of the most environmentally friendly systems available on the ultrasound market: The system uses as little as one-tenth the power and generates much less heat than many conventional ultrasound systems, resulting in decreased use of electricity and air conditioning and less greenhouse gas emissions, increasing cost savings to customers and contributing to a cleaner environment.

The Z.ONE ULTRA SYSTEM takes full advantage of Moore’s Law harnessing the power of exponentially increased processing power. This translates to continuous advances in image quality and greater retrospective processing tools on the Completely stored data set provided by ZONE SONOGRAPHY technology. The data set, Channel Domain Memory, includes all of the raw data from the ultrasound signal allowing the clinician full access to all the image data.

Z.ONE ULTRASOUND SYSTEM 13.10.2008

The first convertible ultrasound system.

The original Z.ONE ULTRASOUND SYSTEM provides an attractive and economical alternative for practices that do not require the advanced image processing capabilities of the Z.ONE ULTRA SYSTEM. The system combines the scan engine with the SuperCart.

The cart-based configuration has a full featured user interface like those in a conventional ultrasound unit. The system features a 13″ flat panel display designed for ambient light conditions, is easy to position and collapses for convenient transport. The backlit keyboard is ergonomic and can be used in dimly-lit exam rooms. Images are stored on a removable USB memory stick that allows customers to archive and transfer their work.

Zinsser Minilab 13.10.2008

Great importance is placed on the chemical stability, heat resistance and general robustness of the construction of the Minilab system. All glass parts are made from class 1 borosilicate glass and the screw threads are formed by precision machinery to ISO specifications for 13mm and 20mm threads.
These glass parts can be used in conjunction with other semi micro apparatus such as the Micro Kit from Wheaton.

The glass components are joined with screw connectors to produce a rigid assembly which does not need numerous supporting stands and clamps. The connector bodies are made from PTFE which seals directly to the glass components. PTFE is resistant to nearly all chemicals and can withstand temperatures up to 200oC. The threaded components are made from a high quality thermoplastic which has a short term resistance to exposure to temperatures up to 140oC. Adaptor caps for connecting glass tubing are made from the same thermoplastic and have PTFE faced silicone rubber seals.Since the assembled apparatus is rigid it does not need extensive support. A magnetic stainless steel workplate is supplied with the kit.The assembled apparatus is attached to the workplate with magnetic clamps.The magnetic clamps are made from polyoxymethylene which is unaffected by most chemicals. The workplate has smooth sides and rounded corners for safety.Microporous PTFE filter discs are supplied. In use they are supported by perforated PTFE discs which fit between the glass apparatus and a connector piece. All Minilab components can be easily cleaned with a normal laboratory detergent.The heating block has three recesses into which the reaction vessels fit. Holes bored in the side of the block allow the reaction vessel contents to be seen easily. A separate hole fits the Digitemp thermometer probe. The heating block is machined from aluminium alloy which has very good heat conducting properties. In use the heater block is simply placed on top of the Ministir or similar hotplate/ stirrer. Miniature PTFE coated magnetic stirrer bars are supplied in the kit so that the reaction vessel contents can be stirred if required.The Minilab is supplied in a foam lined aluminium storage and transport case. The Digitemp thermometer and Ministir hotplate/stirrer are not part of the kit and are available separately.
